The festival

When is Nova Paw Festival?

Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026. Gates are open from 2 PM to 10 PM on both days.

Where is it, and where do I park?

At Pet Park, The Pearl Island, Doha. Parking is free at MC7 (Viva Bahriya), a short walk from the gates. The Contact page has the map and live directions.

Is the festival only for pet owners?

Not at all. It is a family day out: live shows, fashion runways, international competitions, kids' activities, outdoor dining and a lifestyle market. Bringing a pet is optional.

Tickets and prices

How much are tickets?

Single Pass: QAR 80 per adult and QAR 45 per child (12 and under). Family: QAR 180 for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 pet. Family Plus: QAR 250 for 2 adults, 3 children and up to 2 pets. You can take up to 5 packages in one booking and add extra adults (QAR 80) or children (QAR 45).

Which day does my ticket cover?

The day you choose when you book. To come on both days, choose Both days: the price is doubled and each guest can enter once on each day.

Who counts as a child?

A child ticket is for children aged 12 and under. Children must stay under adult supervision at all times.

How do I get my tickets?

They are emailed right after payment, with your receipt and the terms. Every guest has their own QR code: show it on your phone at the gate, or print it. The same link in the email opens your tickets at any time.

I didn't receive my tickets. What now?

Check your spam folder first. If they are not there, write to contact@novapawfestival.com with the email address you booked with and we will send them again.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are non-transferable, and each QR code works once per festival day.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable, unless the festival is cancelled.

Paying

How do I pay?

Online by card, on SkipCash's secure payment page. Your card details never reach our website.

Can I buy tickets in person?

Yes, at the Nova Vets reception. The team enters your booking and you pay by card there, or they email you a link to pay online. You receive the same tickets and receipt by email.

The payment page didn't open, or my card was declined. What do I do?

Wait a moment and try again; a short connection problem with the bank sometimes stops the first try. If your card is declined, try another card. Nothing is charged until the payment is confirmed, and your tickets arrive by email as soon as it is.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. A Receipt Voucher from Nabni Contracting and Services is attached to your ticket email, together with the terms in English and Arabic.

Bringing your pet

Can I bring my dog or cat?

Yes, free of charge. On a Single Pass each adult can bring one pet, dogs or cats (not both on one booking). The Family package covers one pet and Family Plus up to two, any mix of dogs and cats.

What documents does my pet need?

Bring your pet's passport and vaccination record on the day, showing a valid rabies vaccination, deworming and spot-on (flea and tick) treatment. Nothing needs to be uploaded when you book. Pets without a valid rabies vaccination cannot enter, and the ticket is not refunded.

Does my dog need a behaviour assessment?

Yes, every dog has a short behaviour check. We may call you to book an early one; otherwise our team assesses your dog at the entrance on the festival day. A dog that does not pass cannot enter.

Are any dog breeds not allowed?

Yes. Breeds on the restricted list of Qatar's Ministry of Municipality cannot enter the festival. The booking form tells you straight away if a breed you type is on the list.

Leash, carrier: what are the rules on site?

Dogs stay on a secure, non-extendable leash at all times. Cats stay in their carrier unless they are competing. Owners are responsible for their pets throughout the event, including cleaning up after them.

I booked at Nova Vets without my pet's details. How do I add them?

Your ticket email has an "Add my pet's details" button. It opens a short form for your pet's name, breed, age and type; it takes a minute.

Competitions

Which competitions are there?

Dog Fashion Show, Grooming Competition and Best Dog Show (judged by WKU), Cat Fashion Show and Best Cat Show (judged by WCF), and the Cat Drawing Battle for artists, which needs no pet.

How do I enter, and how much is it?

Register on the Competitions page. Entry fees: Dog Fashion Show and Cat Fashion Show QAR 100, Best Cat Show QAR 120, Grooming Competition and Best Dog Show QAR 150, Cat Drawing Battle free. Each entry is for one festival day, chosen when you register.

When do I pay the entry fee?

After our team reviews your entry. Once it is accepted we email you a secure payment link; your competitor QR code appears on your private entry page as soon as the fee is paid.

Does a competition entry include a festival ticket?

No. Every participant also needs a valid festival ticket for the day.

What does a competing pet need?

Its microchip number, passport and vaccination record. Your entry page tells you if our team needs any document from you.

I entered the wrong competition. Can I change it?

Yes, write to contact@novapawfestival.com before your entry is reviewed and we will move it for you. If the fees differ we will tell you the difference.

Visitors with a disability

Do visitors with a disability get a special ticket?

Yes. The visitor with a disability comes in free, and one person who accompanies them (a parent, family member or carer) pays one ticket at full price. This applies to every type of disability, for children and adults.

How do I request it?

Email contact@novapawfestival.com with: the full names of the visitor with a disability and of the companion, the festival day you are coming, a phone number, and for the visitor with a disability a copy of a valid ID and the disability card (Ministry of Social Development and Family) or another official document. The companion only needs to give their name. We reply with a payment link for the companion's ticket, at full price. As soon as it is paid, you receive two tickets by email: a free ticket for the visitor with a disability and one for the companion. Requests are handled by email only, not at online checkout.

What do I show at the gate?

Your two tickets, plus the ID and disability card of the visitor with a disability. We look at them; we do not keep copies.
